HMI Experience Study for Cadillac's Electric Future 凯迪拉克电气化未来座舱 HMI 体验研究
Revealed at Monterey Car Week 2024, Opulent Velocity is Cadillac's experience-based design study for an all-electric V-Series flagship under Level 4 autonomy. Opulent Velocity 是凯迪拉克于 2024 年蒙特雷车周发布的体验导向型概念车,面向 Level 4 全自动驾驶下的纯电 V-Series 旗舰形态。
The HMI is structured around two distinct modes - Opulent for hands-free luxury and Velocity for track. 整套 HMI 由两种模式构成——Opulent 对应解放双手的自动驾驶奢华体验,Velocity 对应源自赛道的驾驶体验。
I contributed to the cockpit HMI across AR HUD, cowl display, and the Y-shaped steering wheel, shaping the UI visuals and the hero moments that carry each mode's narrative. 我参与了 AR HUD、仪表前沿屏与 Y 形方向盘屏的座舱 HMI 设计,参与塑造 UI 视觉与承载两种模式叙事的关键体验。

Two Dynamic Extremes 两种动态极致
When autonomy makes driving optional, the luxury of the cabin is redefined. One side becomes an immersive respite. The other becomes a thrill kept clean. 当自动驾驶让"驾驶"成为一种选择, 座舱的奢华体验被重新定义。一面化作沉浸的休憩。另一面化作被克制的快感。
Opulent : A Cabin Within an Hourglass 奢华体验:时间沙漏中的座舱
The windshield becomes a portal. The cabin sits within a colossal hourglass. Voyage and time, redefined. 风挡化作一道传送门。座舱栖身于一座巨型沙漏之中。旅程与时间,由此被重新定义。
In Opulent mode, the curved screen in front of the wheel no longer shows speed or navigation. It shows the passenger's heart rate, body temperature, today's schedule. 奢享模式下,方向盘前的曲面屏不再显示车速或导航,而是显示乘客的心率、体温、今日日程。
Sands fill up as the journey progresses, and when the screen is full, the destination has arrived. 沙粒会随着旅程推进逐渐堆满屏幕,当屏幕被填满便意味着抵达目的地。
Velocity : Eyes on Road Experience 极速模式:专注路面的驾驶体验
As Velocity Mode begins, the HUD, steering wheel, and cowl display come alive with road overlays, performance data, and a dynamically generated driving course. 当极速模式启动时,HUD、方向盘与前舱显示区域被联动激活,道路叠加信息、性能数据与基于路线生成的驾驶轨迹同步呈现。
The wheel as control center, organizing driving modes, suspension, and live performance feedback around a 3D model of the car itself. 作为控制中心的方向盘围绕车辆的 3D 模型组织起驾驶模式、悬挂与实时性能反馈。
In Velocity mode, performance is expressed not only as numbers, but also through a Ghost Car drawn from the racetrack experience. It runs ahead in the HUD, with the route unfolding into a series of gates that give the abstract notion of speed a concrete target. 在极速模式里,性能不单纯以数字呈现,还用来自于赛道体验的幽灵车形式体现。Ghost Car 在 HUD 前方奔跑,线路被展开为一道道"门",让"速度"这个抽象的概念被赋予为具象的目标。
